Start your trip at Kansai Airport if you like, and get straight to work exploring the Kansai region including the bustling and exciting city of Osaka – Japan’s second city and home to Universal Studio Japan theme park. If culture and history are more your kind of thing, use your pass to take in nearby Kobe, Kyoto, and Nara, home to some of Japan’s best-preserved heritage building such as the Ikuta Shrine as well as the Kobe Port Tower. With unlimited use of the JR network for 5 days of consecutive use you can use your pass to suit your schedule, sculpting your own Japan experience. One of the best things about the Kansai Whole Area Pass is its fantastic coverage of some of Japan’s less traveled to, but equally as intriguing places like Okayama and The Kumano area. The Kansai region is well known for the friendly welcome given to foreign guests, and with the JR Kansai Wide Area Pass, you’ll be able to discover some of Japan’s coolest places and meet friendly locals at the same time!

－ Important Info －

?Eligibility: All JR passes are available exclusively for visitors from abroad who enter Japan under the entry status of ‘Temporary Visitor’. Both of the below two conditions must be met for purchase and use.

1. The pass user must have a passport issued by a country other than Japan.

2. The pass user must enter Japan as a temporary visitor and have ‘Temporary Visitor’ stamped in their passport.

- The status of temporary visitor is established in Japanese immigration law and permits stays in the country of up to 90 days for purposes such as sightseeing. Visitors desiring to enter Japan for sightseeing will receive a stamp saying, ‘Temporary Visitor’ in their passport by the immigration officer.

?Overnight trains usually cover two calendar days. Under such circumstance, the journey will only use one day of the pass. This pass is only available for ordinary seats. Any reservations for express seats will come at an extra cost.

?Redemption Period: It is accessible within three months of the date the order was issued.

?Validity Period: 5 successive days since the chosen start date.
